[...] One of the people who has thought most deeply about the Laws of Identity is Aldo F. Castañeda. He studies Law and Business Administration at Suffolk University Law School. His blog is the home of his legal thesis, which grapples with intellectual property issues in the emerging digital identity space. He is also doing what must be the definitive series of interviews with people working in this space, called The Story of Digital Identity.
Tony,

I'll be looking out for other reports of problems with the iTunes link. I can't seem to make it fail so I'm putting the head-scratching behind me until this problem shows up again.

Thanks for subscribing!

Hi Aldo- I managed to subscribe via Feedburner, thanks.

I am using Firefox on Windows XP. What happens is that when I click the "subscribe" link in your post, I get taken to the URL: https://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZFinance.woa/wa/undefined which refreshes about 3 times per second.

I haven't had this problem with subscribe links on other sites, but it could very well be something on my end. I'm not tecchie enough to know why. Hope that helps :)

Tony,

I just tried the "iTunes subscribe" link and it works for me. I'm on an iMac running Firefox as well. I'm not sure what the problem is can you tell me a bit more about what is happening?

Alternatively you could just copy the following URL:

http://feeds.feedburner.com/thestoryofdigitalidentity

And then within iTunes just select:

1. The "Advanced" menu item

2. Scroll down to "Subscribe to..."

3. Paste in the above URL.

That should do the trick. And sorry about the problems with the direct link.

Hey, I'd love to subscribe via iTunes, but your link isn't working (I'm using the Firefox browser if that's of use). Clicking the "subscribe" link at the end of your posts loads a page at Apple that is refreshed repeatedly. Just an FYI in case something's broken.
